I think the structure jumps around a little in the later stages but overall this is a superb introduction to one of the more terrifying episodes of human history. A Tutsi pastor, in a letter to his church president, a Hutu, used the chilling phrase that gives Philip Gourevitch his title. With keen dramatic intensity, Gourevitch frames the genesis and horror of Rwanda's "genocidal logic" in the anguish of its aftermath: the mass displacements, the temptations of revenge and the quest for justice, the impossibly crowded prisons and refugee camps. We Wish to Inform You That Tomorrow We Will be Killed With Our Families is a sophisticated and thoughtful analysis of the Rwandan genocide, including the … We work hard to protect your security and privacy. On a side note, be wary of the account of Paul Rusesabagina. Africanist René Lemarchand criticizes the book: What is missing from Gourevitch's account is the how and why of the killings. The absence of attention to the history of the country creates a portrait of a genocide that is insensitive to the complexity of the circumstances. In essence, Gourevitch's story reduces the butchery to the tale of bad guys and good guys, innocent victims and avatars of hate. Philip Gourevitch's "We Wish to Inform You That Tomorrow We Will Be Killed With Our Families" makes the deaths--- yes, almost a million in a hundred days or so ---into tragedy: the tragedies of individuals, of a nation, of the so-called 'international community'. The novels We Wish to Inform You That Tomorrow We Will be Killed With Our Families, by Philip Gourevitch, and A Long Way Gone, by Ishmael Beah, not only give insight into the war violence committed in Africa, but plunge the reader into a personal recall of the dangerous day to day life.

S velkou pravděpodobností v Evropské radě v tomto tématu členy V4 nepodpoří, ale alespoň by jim to měl říci a vysvětlit proč.

Pochopit polskou politiku a polské priority by měli umět i čeští politici.

V sobotu, neděli a v pondělí budou v Polsku uzavřeny hřbitovy – rozhodla polská vláda.
